Along with the project you need to include a typed out list of sources that you used and make sure that the information presented is in your own words.

10/6/11 -- 8B -- Complete the following for Friday 10/14/11
  1. Go to the following link: Lesson Presentation on The Progressive Presidents. Watch the entire lesson. (Click on Start Lesson. From there click play. The lesson is in three main slide shows. When the Roosevelt one if finished, go to the top and move to the Taft one, and then to the Wilson one. There is a separate slide show for each President. For each slide show, write about three things you learned about the President or the U.S. at the time.
  2. Read Chapter 17, Section 3 (pages 523-531), Section 4 (pages 535-537), and Section 5 (pages 538-543). These sections cover the three presidents of the Progressive Era.
  3. Fill in and summarize information requested on the "Positively Peachy Progressive Presidents #1, #2, & #3." Use the information from your textbook. You can summarize, bullet and have incomplete sentences for this. However, you will need to write with enough information to have meaning to the topics. Always think about the Who, What, Where, When, Why, How of the topics.
